A new local meteoric water line for Inuvik (NT, Canada)

Abstract. The paper presents a new local meteoric water line (LMWL) of stable oxygen and hydrogen isotopes in precipitation from Inuvik the western Canadian Arctic. Data were obtained over 37 months between August 2015 2018 resulting 134 measurements isotopic composition both types precipitation, snow rain. For 33 sampling period each month is represented at least two times different years. LMWL characterized by slope 7.39 an intercept −6.70 fills data gap Arctic, where are scarce stem predominantly before year 1990.
